Cretanthos Mountain Farming Extra Virgin Olive Oil 0.5L
This mountain farming extra virgin olive oil is one of the finest quality products from conventional cultivation from Crete. It is a product from semi-ripe olives, with polyphenols (valuable antioxidants that neutralize the free radicals in our body and protect our health). It is produced from olives of the well-known variety “Koroneiki” which are cultivated in conventional estates in Northern Mylopotamos, Crete, at the altitude of 350 meters to the foothills of Psiloritis great mountain where the miracle of nature meets perfection. Because the olive is a tree that is cultivated at a low altitude, in our mountainous estates the olives are “pushed to their limits”. As a result we manage to produce a product that is particularly complex in aroma and taste.
This olive oil is produced by using the cold pressing method and then it is filtered and stored in stainless steel tanks equipped with closed nitrogen system. This process protects the olive oil in order to keep its nutritional value, to avoid oxidation over time and reach the final consumer in excellent condition & quality.
The bottling process take’s place at Cretanthos bottling factory that is certified with ISO 22000/2018. As a product, it has P.O.P. certification. This olive oil has a golden-green color and is characterized by: Intense fruity, mild bitterness and soft spicy.

Use it in the last stage of pasta preparation (spaghetti, tortellini, ravioli) or as a dressing over fish fillets, shrimps, octopus or squid in the oven / grill.
